The Swinton Hayabusa: 10,600 mile review

Having recently broken the 10,000 mile mark on the Hayabusa I am happy to confirm it’s still running as good as new! Ok the paint has received a few chips here and there, I had an issue with the clutch slave cylinder (causing the clutch to not engage properly) which was swiftly repaired under warranty – thanks Suzuki and Alford Bros in Folkestone! The main Meta alarm fob packed up after 6 months (again replaced under warranty) and I had a recent escapade of the Tracker fusing and killing the battery!

Had a fantastic ride home from work today. It was one of those rides where everything gelled together, man and machine as one and all that cheese!

Santa Pod – Run What Ya Brung

Weekend just gone, I was fortunate enough to take the Hayabusa to Santa Pod drag strip in Northampton. Being a drag strip virgin, I was quite excited to have a go on the strip but a bit apprehensive at the same time.
