The 122mph hour cyclist that is to begin a six month jail sentence next week has warned other bikers of the dangers of speeding.
Robert Bennett was caught riding at high speeds with his son holding on to the back.
Speaking to the North Devon Journal, 47-year-old Mr Bennett said that he has never been in trouble for speeding before.
"These bikes react amazingly quickly and sometimes it is very hard to tell how fast you are actually going," he said.
"I'm not a bad person but I am very sorry for what I have done and am prepared to take the punishment. I will never do anything like this every again."
He added that the last 11 months have been "horrible" and led to eczema, diabetes and high blood pressure.
The case highlights the dangers that speeding can have on not only the rider of the bike, but others too.
