Honda insurance customers have been urged to support National Motorcycle Week by the Motor Cycle Industry Association (MCI).
The MCI wants to use the event to encourage more people to take up motorcycling through its Get On campaign, which has already introduced over 7,000 people to two-wheeled motoring, the association claims.
Seasoned bikers can also benefit from the campaign, which encourages them to do more with their bikes and their skills.
"The MCI encourages people to organise events such as ride-outs, charity runs and biker's BBQs which can be enjoyed by non-riders too," said Steve Kenward, chief executive officer of the MCI.
National Motorcycling Week, which runs from July 18th - 24th, is a "fantastic opportunity" for the biker community to come together and talk positively about two-wheeled motoring, Mr Kenward added.
The motorcycling industry contributes nearly £3 billion to the economy each year, according to data released by the MCI last week
