Motorcycle insurance customers on the south coast have been invited to join in with like-minded bikers for a series of summer charity meets.
Plymouth Bike Nights will run every first Thursday evening of the month from April 1st, and will raise money for Help for Heroes, reflecting Plymouth's strong military connections, organisers claim.
The group have been granted use of Plymouth's Hoe Promenade, where visitors can meet other bikers and look at their vast array of machines.
Music will be on offer as well as refreshments, and the first night will also feature some mystery VIPs.
Launching the event, organiser Pete Batten told the Plymouth Herald: "The Hoe is really designed for this type of event. There will be around 1,000 bikers at the nights so we're going to be raising a lot of money for charity."
Visitors from outside Plymouth may wish to set off early, as intelligent driving website Trafficmaster claim that Thursday April 1st will be extremely busy on Britain's roads.
