Honda insurance customers will be hoping to see Dani Pedrosa fit and ready for action at the Spanish Grand Prix this weekend.
The Repsol Honda rider is still recovering from the broken collarbone he suffered in last year's Japanese Grand Prix and was not able to ride at full capacity towards the end of the last event in Qatar.
However, the Spaniard is hoping that the extra two weeks of rest will have allowed him to regain some strength in the joint.
"This week I had some more checks done to my shoulder and tomorrow we will have the results of the doctors' evaluation and their recommendations," he said.
Pedrosa was the form rider of the second half of last season, achieving a number of wins.
However, the rider's injury in Japan put an end to his slim hopes of overhauling the massive points lead that compatriot Jorge Lorenzo had built up in the earlier races and Pedrosa finished second in the championship.
