Honda insurance customers will be joining the manufacturer in celebrating its 50th anniversary of racing this year, which began in 1959 at the Isle of Man TT.
The Japanese manufacturer's team will be seen in action around the 37.75 mile mountain course between May 30th and June 13th.
A number of commemorative items have been planned to mark the anniversary, including a set of stamps to be issued in association with the Isle of Man Post Office.
In addition to these, a special fifty pence coin depicting TT winner John McGuinness on a CBR1000RR Fireblade will be circulated.
"The exciting racing which we're sure to see from the HM Plant Honda team, combined with Honda's celebratory activities is certain to make this year an exceptional anniversary," commented Steve Martindale, general manager for Honda UK.
Earlier in the month, Honda displayed a strong start to the 2009 BSB season, achieving podium finishes in each one of the three British Championship classes.
