Suzuki insurance customers will see a familiar face on the works MotoGP bike this weekend.
With Suzuki only running one bike in motorcycle racing's premier class this season, the team move swiftly to find a replacement for Alvaro Bautista, who is recovering from a broken leg sustained in Qatar.
The rider selected is veteran American John Hopkins, who has been looking to get back into MotoGP for some time.
However, the fan-favourite knows that re-adjusting to the speed of these bikes will be difficult this weekend in Spain.
"I know the Jerez track well, so it's not like I need to learn a new circuit and I also know the team well so that that will help a lot. I will certainly be trying as hard as I can to get a good result," he said.
Bautista recently had a second round of surgery for his injury and is said to be recovering well, although he is expected to be out for a couple of months.
