Honda insurance holder Jonathan Rea was not happy with the speed of his superbike at Donington Park.
In the two-race second round of the World Superbike Championship held on Saturday (March 26th), Rea could only manage to finish in sixth and fifth positions.
After a little rough riding in the first race put him off his stride, Rea was hoping for better in the second outing, but was unable to find the speed from his bike.
"We've got some work to do, I think – especially on the electronics side of things to get driveability off slower corners," he said.
Rea added that their development might be helped by the next race being at the Assen circuit in the Netherlands, as it has fewer slow sections.
The results from Donington are a set-back for the Castrol Honda team, who seemed to have a competitive machine in the previous round at Philip Island in Australia.
