Kawasaki bikes put to the test by racing star

Kawasaki insurance customers have been given a first look at the new range of bikes from the Japanese manufacturer.

Former British and World Superbike champion Neil Hodgson accompanied a group of dealers and racing bosses out to Spain to put the new bikes through their paces.

Included in the line-up was the new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, which Hodgson tested extensively. The racing legend came away from the session very impressed with the bike.

"The main thing that jumped out at me was how light the new bike was to ride. You often hear riders say a new litre bike feels like a 600 well this one feels like a 250! The change of direction was amazing," he said.

It was recently announced that the Japanese firm will be extending its support for Kawasaki insurance customers on the amateur racing scene, offering subsidised bikes and repairs throughout the season.
