LED lights allow extreme motorcycle customisation

A US-based firm says motorcycle insurance customers are increasingly using LED lights to personalise their machines.

Waterproof and requiring extremely low battery power, the lights come in a variety of shapes and sizes and are thin enough to be installed on even the sleekest of bikes.

Last year Wyked Illuzionz released the Stingerz range, a line of highly flexible LED strips which can be curved to the shape of the motorcycle and come in lengths ranging from three to 30 lights.

Its latest addition to the line is 'lava', a red and amber light combination supposed to symbolise the motorcycle rising from the earth.

The lights are also noticeably brighter than other types of flexible lighting, making them an eye-catching addition to any bike.

Wyked Illuzionz recently promoted its products as a safety feature which can make motorcycles more visible on the roads, as part of May's Motorcycle Safety Awareness month in the USA.
