Sagar dominates Putoline XC on RMX450Z

Suzuki insurance customers saw a strong showing from Tom Sagar on the new RMX450Z at the weekend, as the Suzuki rider dominated round one of the Putoline XC Championship in Leicestershire.

It was the debut for the new enduro-specific bike and Sagar managed to battle through to take first place, despite suffering from difficult conditions that saw many of the 170 competitors struggle with overheating issues.

"It was a pretty tough event, but the bike ran perfectly and we were able to keep up a fast pace despite the boggy conditions," said Sagar after the event.

"Whether I contest the whole championship or not is still to be decided, but it was fun today and the RMX proved that it's more than capable in tricky conditions."

Suzuki insurance customers were recently invited to take part in three special GSX-R all-star track days, which will run after the Brands Hatch, Snetterton and Cadwell Park British Superbike rounds.
