Triumph insurance customers may be excited to note that a leading bike publication has got its first look at the manufacturer's new bike.
The eagerly-anticipated Daytona 675R is a high-specification version of Triumph's award-winning supersport bike, according to the Motorcycle News (MCN).
Although no details of specifications have been released, the publication notes that this is the first Triumph machine to come with Ohlins suspension as standard, while Brembo brakes have been added to give the bike extra stopping-power.
The livery is white and black to distinguish it from the original Daytona, offset with carbon fibre mudguards, the MCN notes.
Dealers speaking to the newspaper expect it to cost somewhere in the region of £9,000 to £9,500 when it is released next year.
Triumph insurance customers gathered at Mallory Park earlier this year to celebrate 20 years since the historic brand relaunched itself as a modern manufacturer of high-quality motorcycles.
