Triumph insurance customers looking for a new bike for 2011 may wish to take a look at a new offering from the British manufacturer.
The Triumph Daytona 675R is said to be the "ultimate road and track-day" motorcycle, capable of dealing with traffic and commuting as well as high-speed cornering.
A number of top-of-the-range features have been included to make the bike quick around the track. Ohlins has introduced the 43mm NIX30 forks normally only found on Italian superbikes, as well as the MotoGP-developed TTX36 rear shock.
Along with Brembo brakes for significant stopping power, the bike can produce 123bhp and 72Nm of torque. It is visually different from the standard 675 with new graphics and lightweight carbon fibre components.
This year saw Triumph celebrate 20 years since the successful relaunch of the brand. To celebrate this fact, the manufacturer recently held a festival for Triumph insurance customers at Leicestershire's Mallory Park circuit.
