TV personality signs up for bike show

BMW insurance customers will have the chance to hear from TV personality Charley Boorman when he makes an appearance at Motorcycle News (MCN) Live.

Motorcycle enthusiast Boorman has now been added to the bill, to entertain the crowds with tales of his trips around the world, MCN has confirmed.

Along with close friend Ewan McGregor, he rode BMW motorcycles across Asia and Africa and is now doing his own touring show, Charley Boorman Live.

"This will be a laugh, just chatting about some of the mad things I've got up to, and sharing them with like-minded people," he said.

MCN Live will also feature stunt displays, a wall of death, live tribute bands and various other things to entertain the crowds, the paper claims.

Tickets are still available for the show, which runs April 23rd - 26th in Skegness.

For those unable to make the April event, Triumph have announced that it will be holding a festival of its own in September, to celebrate 20 years since the brand was re-launched.
