Yamaha to provide bikes for off-roading experience

Yamaha insurance customers can try their hand at off-roading when visiting the Carole Nash Motorcycle Live event at the Birmingham NEC.

The Japanese manufacturer has agreed to sponsor the off-road experiences, providing WR250F bikes suitable for all.

This opportunity is open to anyone with a bit of riding experience, and full kit including protective clothing and helmet will be provided at the show.

A large section of the NEC exhibition hall will be turned into an enduro course featuring woodland, dirt tracks and jumps.

Finlay McAllan, managing director of the event organisers MCIE, said Yamaha's decision to sponsor the off-road exhibition is indicative of the esteem that is held for the show within the motorcycling community.

"To be able to give show-goers the opportunity to get first-hand experience of off-road riding, be it enduro or motocross, will be immensely satisfying for all involved," he added.

All four major Japanese manufacturers have signed up to display at the show, event organisers confirmed last week.
